What We Believe

1. The Bible
The Bible is God's Word, inspired by the Holy Spirit. It shows us how to be saved and is our ultimate and infallible guide. (Ps. 119:105; Prov. 30:5, 6; Isa. 8:20; John 17:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Heb. 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20, 21.)

3. The Father
God the Father created everything, takes care of everything, and is in charge. He is just, holy, merciful, and loving. (Gen. 1:1; Deut. 4:35; Ps. 110:1, 4; John 3:16; 14:9; 1 Cor. 15:28; 1 Tim. 1:17; 1 John 4:8; Rev. 4:11.)

5. The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is as much God as the Father and the Son. He was involved in creation, Jesus' life, and our salvation. He inspired the Bible and helps us become like God in character. He gives us spiritual gifts and leads us to truth. 7. Human Nature
Humans were created in God's image with the ability to choose. Sin brought death and separation from God, but through Jesus, we can be restored. We are called to love God, each other, and take care of the earth. 9. Jesus' Life, Death, and Resurrection
Jesus' life, death, and resurrection are the only way to be saved. They show God's love and righteousness and ensure victory over sin and death. 11. Spiritual Growth
Jesus' death defeated evil and gives believers victory. The Holy Spirit helps us live in peace, joy, and assurance. We grow spiritually through prayer, Bible study, worship, and service. 13. Church in the Last Days
God's end-time church proclaims the three angels' messages about judgment, salvation, and Jesus' second coming. This leads to repentance and reform. (Dan. 7:9-14; Isa. 1:9; 11:11; Jer. 23:3; Dan. 7:9-14; Micah 2:12; 2 Cor. 5:10; 2 Thess. 2:3, 4; Rev. 12:17; 14:6-12; 18:1-4.)

15. The Importance of Baptism
Baptism symbolizes dying to sin and starting a new life in Jesus. It's done by immersion and is a public declaration of faith. (Matt. 3:13-16; 28:19, 20; Acts 2:38; 16:30-33; 22:16; Rom. 6:1-6; Gal. 3:27; Col. 2:12, 13.)

17. Spiritual Gifts

19. God's Holy Law
God's law, including the Ten Commandments, shows His character and His revealed will. It helps us understand right and wrong. Jesus kept the law and showed us how to live by it. 21. Our Time, Talents and Treasure
Everything we have comes from God. We manage His gifts, like our time, talents, and money, wisely and generously, and use them to glorify Him. (Gen. 1:26-28; 2:15; 1 Chron. 29:14; Hag. 1:3-11; Mal. 3:8-12; Matt. 23:23; 1 Cor. 9:9-14; 12:13; 2 Cor. 8:1-15; 9:7.)

23. Marriage and the Family
Marriage is a lifelong union between a man and a woman, established by God. The family is the foundation of society, where love, respect, and faith are taught and practiced. (Gen. 2:18-25; Exod. 20:12; Deut. 6:5-9; Prov. 22:6; Mal. 4:5, 6; Matt. 19:3-9; John 2:1-11; Eph. 5:21-33; 6:1-4.)

25. The Soon Return of Jesus
Jesus will return visibly and gloriously to deliver His people and restore all things. This event will be seen by everyone and will end sin and death. 27. Sin's Eradication from the Universe
The millennium is a thousand-year reign of Christ with His saints in heaven between the first and second resurrections. During this time, the wicked will be judged. At its end, the wicked, including Satan, will be destroyed, all sin will be eradicated from the universe, and the earth will be made new. (Jer. 4:23-26; Mal. 4:1; Ezek. 28:18, 19; 1 Cor. 6:2, 3; Rev. 19:17-21; 20:1-10; 21:1-5.)

2. The Godhead
God is one being but exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three are eternal and all-powerful. (Gen. 1:26; Deut. 6:4; Isa. 6:8; Matt. 28:19; John 3:16; 2 Cor. 1:21, 22; 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2.)

4. The Son
Jesus is God the Son who became human. He created everything, showed us God's character, saved us, and will judge the world. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and went to heaven. He will come back to take us home. 6. Creation
God created everything in six days and rested on the seventh day, making it a special day. Humans were made in God's image to take care of the earth. Creation was perfect and showed God's glory. 8. The Unseen Conflict
There is a battle between Jesus and Satan over God's character and law. It started in heaven and continues on earth. Jesus sends the Holy Spirit and angels to help us. 10. The Joy of Salvation
Through Jesus' sacrifice, believers are made right with God, adopted as His children, and freed from sin. The Holy Spirit helps us live holy lives. Salvation is a gift we receive through faith in Jesus. 12. Who is the Church?
The church is a community of believers who follow Jesus. It gathers for worship, fellowship, learning, and service. The church's mission is to spread the gospel worldwide. 14. Church: One Body – Many Members

16. Communion and Servant Leadership
The Lord's Supper reminds us of Jesus' sacrifice. Believers share bread and wine, symbolizing Jesus' body and blood, and practice foot-washing to show humility and a willingness to serve others. (Matt. 26:17-30; John 6:48-63; 13:1-17; 1 Cor. 10:16, 17; 11:23-30; Rev. 3:20.)

18. The Gift of Prophecy
The gift of prophecy helps the church understand God's will. Ellen G. White's writings, although not considered scripture or on par with the Bible, are considered an inspired source of guidance for believers. 20. The Seventh-day Sabbath
The Sabbath is a weekly day of rest and worship from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. It reminds us of creation and salvation and strengthens our relationship with God. 22. Christian Lifestyle
Believers live by God's principles, which affect their thoughts, speech, and actions. We avoid harmful habits and focus on healthy living, good relationships, and positive entertainment. 24. Jesus is Our High Priest
Jesus is our High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary. He is interceding for us, and His work will end with the judgment, determining who is saved. 26. Death and Resurrection
Death is like a sleep until the resurrection. The righteous will be resurrected at Jesus' return, and the wicked after the millennium. 28. The Earth Made New
God will create a new earth, where righteousness dwells and the redeemed will live forever with God. Suffering, death, and sin will be no more. (Ps. 37:29; Isa. 35; 65:17-25; Matt. 5:5; 2 Peter 3:13; Rev. 11:15; 21:1-7; 22:1-5.)
